After an early breakfast, travel to the Tashichho Dzong area to experience the first day of the Thimphu Tshechu.

Monks and lay performers present dances with spiritual meanings connected with Bhutan’s Buddhist traditions. Thousands of Bhutanese gather for the celebration, often wearing colourful traditional dress.
