This adventure takes you from the cultural heart of Thimphu and Punakha into the pristine landscapes of Haa Valley, Sagala and Nyingula, before concluding with the iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest.

Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and driver before beginning your journey to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
Begin your introduction to Bhutan with visits to some of Paro’s most important cultural landmarks before continuing along the scenic valley road to Thimphu.

Overnight: Thimphu
Dedicated to discovering the cultural, religious and traditional character of Bhutan’s capital. Such as, National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Temple, Zilukha Nunnery, National Library, School of Arts and Crafts, Folk Heritage Museum, Takin Preserve & Tashichho Dzong.

Overnight: Thimphu
After breakfast, leave Thimphu and travel towards Punakha, Bhutan’s former capital. The road climbs through beautiful pine, fir and rhododendron forests before reaching the spectacular Dochula Pass.
Elevation: Thimphu 2,320 m → Dochula 3,100 m → Punakha 1,200 m
Overnight: Punakha
Following breakfast, begin the scenic journey back towards Paro. The drive passes through Bhutan’s spectacular mountain landscapes, forests, rivers and traditional settlements.
Upon arrival in Paro, explore the valley and experience aspects of traditional Bhutanese rural life.
Elevation: Paro 2,200 m → Punakha 1,200 m
Overnight: Paro
With the new day it marks the beginning of the mountain camping adventure. After breakfast, drive from Paro towards Haa Valley, crossing the spectacular Chele La Pass.
From the Haa region, begin the trekking journey through remote mountain landscapes, forests and traditional settlements before continuing towards the Sagala campsite.
Enjoy an evening surrounded by the peaceful Himalayan landscape.
Elevation: Paro 2,200 m → Haa 2,670 m → Sagala 3,550 m
Overnight: Camping at Sagala
Continue deeper into Bhutan’s high mountain landscape journey towards Nyingula. Today’s trek follows mountain ridges, forests and alpine terrain, providing spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Elevation: Sagala 3,550 m → Nyingula 3,850 m
Overnight: Camping at Nyingula
After breakfast, continue the final section of the mountain trek. The trail passes through alpine meadows, yak-herding areas and rhododendron forests before reaching higher mountain ridges.
After the demanding mountain trek, relax and enjoy a comfortable evening in Paro.
Elevation: Nyingula 3,850 m → Chele La 3,988 m → Para 2,200 m
Overnight: Paro
Today is devoted to Bhutan’s most iconic landmark, Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest. The monastery is dramatically positioned on a cliff approximately 900 metres above the Paro Valley. The hike takes you through beautiful pine forests decorated with colourful prayer flags.
Spend your final evening relaxing in Paro after completing the mountain adventure.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will transfer you to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
